About Me
Biography
Bianca Cersosimo, Ph.D., is a California Licensed Clinical Psychologist who provides integrative, culturally responsive psychotherapy tailored to each individual’s lived experience. Her approach draws from psychodynamic therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), allowing her to thoughtfully combine insight-oriented work with practical skills for emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and values-based living.
Dr. Cersosimo believes that effective therapy is not one-size-fits-all. She collaborates closely with clients to understand how their personal history, relationships, cultural background, and systemic experiences shape current challenges. Treatment is individualized to support deeper self-understanding, meaningful behavioral change, and strengthened coping capacity, while fostering a strong therapeutic alliance grounded in respect and curiosity.
With advanced training in psychological assessment and a background in psychotherapy research, Dr. Cersosimo integrates scientific knowledge with clinical intuition. She is committed to creating a reflective, compassionate space where clients can explore longstanding patterns, build new skills, and move toward a life aligned with their values.
